"Just4Keepers has been running successfully now for the past seven years; and over this time period we at J4K have produced more schoolboy goalkeepers than any of our top professional clubs."
Ray Newland - J4K Founder
Lee Kendall
Flying the Flag for Cardiff Keepers
Lee has unbelievably captained his country at every level bar senior.
Goal keeping has always been in Lee's blood from an early age because his father, the late Mark Kendall was a professional goal keeper. Playing over 400 league games for Spurs, Wolves, Newport County and Swansea City.
After years of Mark telling Lee to play outfield Lee decided to take after his father and started to play in goal!
As a youngster lee started to get noticed and he had trials with Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Luton Town, with Lee opting for Crystal Palace.
By this time Lee had already represented his country (Wales) several times!
Lee was given a 3 year contract at Palace as well as now captaining Wales at U16 and U18 level.
Lee has worked with some of the biggest names in the game, including, Steve Coppell, Terry Venables, Dave (harry) Bassett and has also been coached and trained with some of the best goalkeepers in the world, including...
Nigel Martyn, Kevin Miller, Dave Beasent, Fraser Digby, Malcolm Webster, Mike Kelly Paul Jones , Mark Crossley, Danny Coyne, Neville Southall, Eddie Negiveski. and J4K Dublin coach Matt Greg.
Lee was then loaned out to top of the league team, Barry Town were his debut game was in the Champions league against Boa vista of Portugal were Lee got man of the he match. Lee was then due back at Palace but was bought by Cardiff city for £50,000. While at Cardiff not only did he help them win the league title, but he also captained Wales U21 National side.
Lee had a brief spell at Shrewsbury Town but decided to move back home to Cardiff so his family could settle and signed for Haverfordwest County and enjoyed 5 good years, being club captain, and qualifying and playing in the UEFA cup. He was also picked to play for the Welsh semi professional international team.
Lee then moved to top of the table Rhyl were he broke the clubs record for least goals conceded in one season and signing the longest contract in the Welsh leagues history. Lee played in Europe again while at Rhyl and was once again picked to represent the Welsh semi professional international team.
With over 250 league and cup games to his name and as well as a bag full of International caps for his country, it's safe to say that Lee has had a very successful career! He now wants to pass on his knowledge to fellow Welsh keepers throughout his area with his Just4keepers goalkeeper schools.
