Nick Buxton

Nick started his career as an YTS player at Doncaster Rovers where he apprenticed for two years before signing professional forms. Nick then spent several season playing in the first team, before Bury Football Club came in for him.

Nick played for Bury for a couple of seasons before Halifax Town came in with an offer for him. Nick accepted Halifax's terms and then spent another few season playing for them in the football conference.

From Halifax Nick moved back into the football league with Scarborough, were he played regular football for nearly three seasons until injury halted his career, putting him out the professional game for nearly three years!

Nick got himself back to full fitness and has since signed and played for several semi professional teams, including Harrogate Town, Spennymoor United , Eastwood Town, Goole FC, Glapwell, Worksop Town and the team who he still plays for, Stalybridge Celtic.

With Nicks experience of playing professional and semi professional football, and also the massive advantage of him STILL playing at a high level, plus the fact he has played OVER 300 league games.. Nick will be a great asset for any youngster who joins his school wanting to become a top goalkeeper!
