Peter Started his goalkeeping career at the ripe age of nine and has been involved with goalkeeping ever since.
The teams he played for where Evergreen FC ,Freebooters FC ,Fort Rangers FC and Tolka Rovers FC in Dublin where he won many honours over the years including all local honours with these clubs at schoolboy,youth,junior and intermediate level.Peter signed for Tolka Rovers FC at age 16 for there u19 team and as a result of these achievements Peter was a sort after goalkeeper from a young age.Peter returned to kilkenny and signed for Freebooters at youth and junior level.He then went on and signed for Fort Rangers FC and then went back to Evergreen FC to play,junior and intermediate level.Peter also represented kilkenny & district league at all levels.
Peter is FA and FAI qualified and he travels over to England once a month to work alongside Ex Everton, Wigan goalkeeper and J4K founder, Ray Newland helping Ray deliver his sessions. Peter also works very closely with ex Crystal Palace and current UCD goalkeeper Matt Gregg who is based in Dublin.
Peter has had over 25 years of goalkeeping experience and has coached many young goalkeepers where he lives and the surrounding areas.
Peter now wants to take his goalkeeper coaching experience to new heights and he sees J4K to help him achieve this dream!
Peter has worked with the Women's Emerging Talent Programme in Bunclody and in Waterford for the F.A. He also worked on E.T.P in bunclody with the boys as head goalkeeper coach for the F.A.I.
He was in Sunderland F.C. in January 2010 coaching with Alan Fettis ex N Ireland and Blackburn keeper and present Academy goalkeeper coach and has worked very closely with coaches such as Ray Newland ex Everton ,Wigan (and J4k founder) Alan Fettis ex N Ireland and Blackburn ,Matt Gregg ex Crystal Palace, Billy Herne current Waterford utd keeper coach,and F.A.I. Coach.

My son Conor has always wanted to be the goalie on whatever team he plays with. For the 1st couple of years he had to train with all the other outfield players, as none of the coaches ever trained goalies. When Peter set up the J4K in Kilkenny, Conor was delighted and signed up immediately.He has been ever present at the coaching sessions and has attended many of the extra day sessions that Peter has provided.To see Conor progress from a good shotstopper, into a leader of the defence in the teams in which he plays, is a testament to the expert coaching he is receiving from Peter. From watching alot of the sessions myself, I would also say that apart from learning how to be a good goalie, Peter is teaching all involved respect, and I would highly recommend Peter and J4K Kilkenny. jordan was 8 when he started j4k classes he was a very shy and quite little lad when he started now he is a chatty confident lad he loves his classes and has so much confidence when he plays with his team each week he learns a new skill and practices what they have alredy learned peter is very good with the boys and the hr long session is packed full of training peter is strict but in a very good way if mistakes are made the boys are told there n then what was wrong i would highly recommend j4k classes and its very reasonably priced

I have been training with Peter every wednesday for the last 2 years.At start i was just a rookie but then my friend reccommended j4k and ever since i have loved and enjoyed it.I think going to j4k for me has made me a much better goalkeeper than what i started off like.I would like to thank Peter for his great coaching and hopefully he stays at it.Thanks for giving me the confidence I needed and for putting Bridge United on the Map.

My son Darragh has been training with Peter since he started up, he was lacking in confidence in goal but with the proper training from peter he has inproved 100%. He is much more confident in the goal during the matches. He looks forward to his training on a wednesday night with peter.

my son jordan started training with peter only a short time ago and he has improved a great deal in that short time,peter is an excellent coach who gives each child equal attention and instruction
