Flying the Flag for South Yorkshire Keepers

Jimmy is one of the young guns at J4K and has already established himself as a excellent goalkeeper coach in Sheffield area.

Jimmy started playing in goal aged just five, playing in goal for numerous local teams but mainly Handsworth boys.  At an eagerly age he impressed local scouts and he went to Sheffield Wednesday FC as a youngster.

After a few seasons back and forth at Sheffield Wednesday, playing against the likes of Manchester United FC Jimmy found himself back  at Handworths boys making his debut aged just 16 in a U19 match.

Jimmy continued to play semi professionally notching up games against, Sheffield FC, Matlock Town, Alfreton Town to name but a few. He also played for their youth team in the FA Youth cup playing against Altrincham.

Like a couple of other J4K coaches, Jimmy realized that his height would be an issue, so he rejected a couple of semi professional clubs advances to pursue his love of goalkeeper coaching, coaching for his local teams, plus setting up his own goalkeeping academy.

Jimmy is FA qualified and wants to be one of the youngest UEFA Goalkeeper Coaches in the UK. Jimmy still plays semi professionally locally at present.
