Scott Bentley

Scott started his goalkeeping at a very early age, playing locally and getting picked up by his local club stoke City. After a few couple of seasons at stoke he moved into the semi professional leagues, were Scott enjoyed an immense career playing in many of the biggest semi Pro leagues in the North West.

His first club was Northwich Victoria before moving onto Nuneaton Borough, then signing for Telford United.

After several seasons at the above clubs, Scott then signed for Kidsgrove Athletic and in his first season winning the Northwest counties league and cup double and just missing out on playing at Wembley stadium after losing in the FA Vase semi final.

From kidsgrove he then signed for Rocester, then Hinckley United before eventually signing for Newcastle Town where he is still presently playing, as player, goalkeeper coach.

Scott's very impressive career in the semi professional circuit spans over a decade of playing top football and he has played in high flying leagues like the, Dr Martins league, Unibond one and Unibond Premier, The North West Counties and the Conference!!!

Scott has his level 2 coaching badge and is working towards his goalkeeper's badge.
